This week at AMFC.
* Yet another broken prop!
* BMFA “D” certs
Broken Prop.
So I now have my F3A Sparc ready to go. Having trashed the config that I was given due to totally not understanding it. Yes, it was my fault, Yes I shoulda ask, yes I’ve learnt that lesson.
The config is all sorted now and after a check it had an ace flight. I was really really really (3 reallys) pleased.
What I didn’t know was that somewhere during that flight, a damn wheel had decided to leave the plane.
I did find out on landing though!
They stop quick on grass with a missing wheel.
Lucky for me the undercarriage actually snapped and did not rip out. Thus, no damage to plane (phew) just need a new undercarriage and a new prop. Oh and I’ve now lost trust in collets ๐
BMFA D
3.5 members achieved their BMFA “D” certs. The ‘D’ is for demolition ๐
We started demolition of “The Cloud”. This is in preparation for our upcoming move later in the year.
We’ll defo need another day to clear the rest of it ๐
The pictures show the progress so far.
Till next time
