This event was a new thing for AMFC. The event run by Dan Gallo included known schedules, unknown schedules and a freestyle event.
As this a new trial event the number of entries wasn’t massive and one competitor had to withdraw during the morning set up period due to a dodgy servo issue. However, the others carried on.
The wind wasn’t the best, as it was a gusty northerly, which meant it was blowing directly in the faces of the pilots.
Every manoeuvre thus had large rudder inputs required, and landings were all about sliding it it sideways.
Overall a fantastic day was had and one that will definitely be on the calender for next year.
