So the first proper weekend at new site saw a decent turnout.
We even had some members that we don’t often see turn up. Looks like an ace facility draws a crowd.
Wind was a little iffy on the Sunday but some good flights to be had.
Only one tiny piece of damage and that was from a foot meeting a canopy on the floor. (No, it wasn’t mine this time!)
In other news the new site has resulted in a few people interested in joining. This week I’ve had three calls for from people interested. That’s good news for the club, new members always welcome.
So overall so far so good. We’ve still got all the stuff to move which is still ongoing but, small steps.
